Oops - British newspapers get it wrong declaring Obama has won New Hampshire

Not the best day for British newspapers!

The time difference between the UK and the USA means that tomorrows British newspapers have to go to press before today has ended in the USA. The papers felt compelled to lead with a story about the US Presidential New Hampshire primaries, but had to predict the result as they had to go to press before the result was known. Papers assumed that a large poll led, coupled with the momentum that seemed to be around his campaign, would result in Obama winning again........
But they got it wrong and the day after Hillary Clinton staged a shock comeback, the British press were embarassingly talking about 'Obama Magic', 'Obama victory' and 'Clinton being forced to move to Plan B'................
