Around 4 months ago Guinness launched their latest ad, 'Tipping Point', which features a chain reaction / domino effect in a South American village. Guinness' advertising heritage means that every campaign is heavily scrutinised and whilst this was a big budget production, many commentators felt it lacked something and was a 'bit flat'. (There were also accusations of copying the Honda Cog ad as well as questionmarks over what a South American village effectively represented Irish stout.)

A new campaign for Pot Noodle is breathing life back into the Guinness work. 'Tipping Pot' is a viral remake of the Guinness 'Tipping Point' ad. Tipping Pot is set on a housing estate and, in line with the Guinness original, features a domino effect. The domino effect in Tipping Pot uses microwaves, cigarettes, mobile phones, wheely bins, milk and cassettes.......

Tipping Pot is a clever piece of work and the view count is growing quickly - 254,000 currently. It will be interesting to see how high this goes!
