Barack O'Bama - Irish claim new President-elect is one of their own!

An Irish Barack Obama tribute song by Hardy Drew and the Nancy Boys is going viral.

'There's no-one as Irish as Barack O’Bama' has found a following online and Hardy Drew have been playing it on Irish TV (RTE) and Irish radio. Hardy Drew and the Nancy Boys have even been invited to Washington DC by Irish American Democrats to play 'There's no-one as Irish as Barack O'bama' live at the inauguration party on 19th January 2009!

"He's in the White House, he took his chance, now let's see Barack do Riverdance......."

'There's no-one as Irish as Barack O'bama' has now been covered by the BBC and is derived from the fact that Barack Obama's great-great-great-grandfather came from Moneygall in the Republic of Ireland - thus making Barack Obama part-Irish......
