Facebook has grown enormously over 2008 - with Facebook having it's busiest ever day on Christmas Day 2008. I have kept regular track of the growth in Facebook users by country this year. Here are my year end Facebook usage statistics (including percentage growth over the 6 months from July.)
UPDATE: March 2009 Facebook usage statistics here
UPDATE: July 2009 Facebook usage statistics here
UPDATE: December 2009 latest Facebook usage statistics here
There are now 21 countries with over 1 million Facebook users (compared to July when there were 11 countries with more than 1 million Facebook users). There are some huge increases detailed below and more countries will pass the million users mark shortly.
Facebook has grown to dominate the global social networking scene - and the growth shows little sign of slowing yet........

Hi Nick. I referenced your Facebook post in a post I made yesterday. I wanted to dig a little deeper into the stats to see what else they revealed, I think you'll find the results interesting. http://blog.brendanmitchell.com/2009/01/06/time-for-facebook-to-face-the-facts/
50% growth in 6 months...in millions. I honestly cannot believe that.
Do you have the latest Facebook statistics for Jamaica? Its popularity seems to be growing really fast. Also would you have numbers for Twitter (but FB is more important)? Many thanks.
