Broadband penetration is therefore still increasing, with noteworthy increases in Eastern Europe (29.4% in 12 months), Latin America (31.4% in 12 months) and South / East Asia (25.5% in 12 months) - though broadband is also showing healthy increases in Western Europe, APAC and North America.
Easy to forget that in some areas the internet revolution is only just beginning and the continued growth of broadband facilitates ever more innovative ad formats, greater use of online streaming, increased opportunity for sharing / self-publishing / social networking - all the while opening up new markets / removing global boundaries and developing new opportunities for internet marketing along the way.
